I had the privilege of working with Pebble and Pine, a growing company of specialist coffee roasters!
It's something a bit different for my Commercial Photography and I loved creating some exciting, bespoke images to be used on their website and in their promotional material.
Most people who drink coffee will never give a second thought to the taste or the process that's gone into their morning wake up brew. I know I don't, but today I discovered that It's an art in its own form! Dave Nixon from Pebble and Pine has been developing some outstanding flavours to be tasted by those who drink one of the 2 billion cups of coffee that are guzzled every day!
After realising the amount of work that goes into my daily fuel it seemed only right to show my appreciation through my photography (and obviously by supping a few more cups!). Whilst watching a master of his trade create a fresh cuppa I spent time capturing all the little details of the process, which was much more complex than when I throw in my spoonful of instant and wait for the kettle!
Stage Espresso and Brew Bar played host to this particular photoshoot. A modern, atmospheric Coffee House in the centre of Leeds, West Yorkshire. It came complete with a four legged friend, Cooper the Beagle, who after introducing himself, posed for his own photo! Who needs a Cat Cafe!
Great shoot, great coffee, great venue! Good day at the office for Danny Thompson Photography!
